A move by Senate republicans working in some of the top roles positions in the supply chain management of the gov., seem to to overturn President Obama’s contraception mandate has fallen short by three votes. The Blunt amendment as it came to be known was an attempt to stop the current administration from forcing catholic charities and other affiliated organisations to provide contraception as part of their insurance planes. The amendment would have meant that any organisation could remove something from their medical insurance planes if they had a religious objection to providing that service.
Packaged to have Calorie Labels from Thursday
Eating healthy just became somewhat easier with calorie labels to be placed on all meat packaging. To new labels will inform consumers just how many calories each package contains in order for the purchaser to make an informed choice. The regulations will be introduced Thursday meaning that any meat packaged after midnight on Wednesday will have to include the health labels.
